El Pito

Venezuelan DJ and producer Mr. Pauer teams up with longtime studio collaborator CaRaSi for the release of their new single “El Pito”, dropping worldwide via Sony Latin imprint Orianna on Friday, January 26. The track is the second single featured from Mr. Pauer’s forthcoming album Inevitable

Venezuelan and Boricua vibes unite on Mr. Pauer and CaRaSi’s merengue house party banger “El Pito”. The song pays homage to the timeless inspiration of artists like Fulanito and Proyecto Uno and takes inspiration from the sounds of Latin, hip hop and electronic music.

Mr. Pauer and CaRaSi flex their dance music muscles with the boom and punch of Roland 808s, 909s, and 707s, fused with the traditional sounds of conga and Puerto Rican guiro. “It was important to us to spend time on the vocals to capture that classic gritty street sound and 90s feeling,” says Mr. Pauer. “Once we had the vibe locked in, we immediately came up with the lyrics and structure of the song.”

“El Pito” is the first of three collaborations with CaRaSi on Mr. Pauer’s forthcoming album on Orianna, entitled Inevitable. “We have a deep connection in the studio and making music with him is a constant source of inspiration, “says Mr. Pauer. “Plus, we laugh a lot!”
